Wow what a day! Dean Road had it's first Rocket Run today. This was a fundraiser put on by PTA in conjunction with Family Fun Night. Each child got as many sponsors and ran as many laps as possible. If they ran 20 laps they would get free entrance into Family Fun Night. Grandparents, parents, siblings, friends, teachers and anyone else who wanted, came and ran with the children. We couldn't have asked for better weather. Mr. Floyd had the music blarring and all onlookers cheered the children on. All the children loved it. Annah Beth ran a total of 60 laps and Grace ran 32 laps. I'm so glad I just sponsored a flat amount instead of by the lap.
