Well today officially started Auburn Football season. War Eagle! We did the whole Auburn game day production. Roping off our spot on Friday at 4:00, ordering Mike and Ed's BBQ, Amsterdam sweet potato chips (which the Mahers had last year and personally requested), setting up the tent, table, table cloths, AU serving pieces and more. I think we've almost converted the Mahers to be AU fans. I just love the thought of Floridians wearing Auburn attire!! Aimee created the best table centerpiece- an orange and blue ceramic bowl decorated with Auburn letters filled with chocolate forms in the shape of footballs. How cute is that!! You would think she had been born and bred an Auburn Tiger. All the children had a blast. We tailgated until 4:00 and then took them to see Tiger Walk. I guess being opening game all the fans came out because it was extremely crowded. We made sure we were in the stadium early enough to see the Eagle fly. My children just love that. The game was a lot of fun. We stayed until the third quarter and then decided to return home and get the children settled.
